Association of Healthcare Cleaning ProfessionalsGV Health is proud to be a member and Gold Sponsor of the Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals (AHCP), a non-profit, non-government association whose members are professionals affiliated to or linked with healthcare cleaning.

The AHCP encompasses all areas of healthcare cleaning including NHS and private hospitals, Primary Care Trusts, care and nursing homes, dental and GP clinics and surgeries as well as the mental health field.

The AHCP is the principal organisation which defines the standards and represents the interests of the healthcare cleaning sector throughout the UK.

With well over individual 700 members including managers and supervisory staff, AHCP members are present in every healthcare trust in England, Scotland and Wales and in a growing number of hospitals and clinics in both Northern Ireland and the Republic. A growing network of regional branches throughout the UK organise study days, workshops to share expertise and best practice. An annual conference takes place in June each year.

GV Health's Managing Director, Catherine Pegna is currently National Deputy Chair (South) of the AHCP. She has worked closely with the AHCP over a number of years to assist with development.
