Patient Care Pack

1st October 2009

patient_pack3GV Health have announced a new range of Patient Care Packs. Patient Care Packs directly address concerns about patient to patient and visitor to patient transmission, a key area for current infection prevention strategy.

Patient care packs address the increasing issue of patients who, for what ever reason, are unable to provide basic personal hygiene and body care items on admission either as day or in-patients. GV Health have worked closely with infection prevention specialists to ensure that the pack contents have the correct level of anti-bacterial and antimicrobial properties for hospital use in addition to being both appealing and affordable for patients and visitors.

Patient Care Packs plug a major gap in the government's cross infection reduction strategy. A number of leading NHS hospitals will be making GV Health Patient Care Packs available during 2010.

Patient Care Packs can be supplied in bulk to healthcare organisations and are designed both for free distribution and sale through retail outlets in hospitals direct to patients and hospital visitors.

Patient Care Packs are an important addition to GV Health's existing range of spillage cleaning and infection control emergency kits which include biohazard and cytotoxic spill cleaning kits and pandemic PPE packs.
