Waste from Healthcare Facilities Conference

GV Health are sponsoring a new international conference 'Waste from Healthcare Facilities' taking place at St Thomas's Hospital, London on 14-15 April 2016.

This new event will address a wide range of topical issues in healthcare waste management including current and emerging technologies, sustainability and preparing for emergencies.

The event is organised by the Healthcare Waste and Resources Research (HCWRR) Group at the University of Northampton in conjunction with the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA).

The HCWRR Group is completely independent and aims to further evidence-based research into healthcare waste management for the benefit of the public purse, public health and for the environment as a whole. It is comprised of individuals working across the healthcare wastes and resources sector including from the National Health Service (NHS), private health providers, industry, academia, and environmental consultancies.
