Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is central in the organisation ensuring that the company meets its high standards for customer service. The role combines contact with customers, our sales team, the internal operations of ordering, supply and shipping of product to meet customer demands. We require an outgoing person with excellent communication skills, and a determination to turn problems into opportunities. You will be involved in all aspects of the company’s operation and will hold a pivotal role in the centre of the organisation at both the Hertford and Stevenage sites.

Areas of responsibility

  • Processing Customers order and Stock Control
  • Processing customers’ orders daily, ensuring stock is available by set delivery dates and liaising with all customers to inform of any stock issues
  • Customer Service building up a relationship with all customers and ensuring they are happy with goods
  • Answering the telephone and fielding all calls
  • Fulfil orders via Amazon and process immediately
  • Maintain and monitor Amazon FBA account and replenish stock as necessary
  • Monitor and maintain NHS portal
  • Opening incoming post and log on system distribute as necessary
  • Forecasting future requirements with Operations Manager and placing external purchase orders
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels by closely monitoring sales and supplier delivery times
  • Liaising with suppliers and sales staff regarding stock availability and order ETA's.
  • Raise purchase orders as necessary
  • Building relationships with customers and suppliers on a daily basis
  • Ensuring customer information held is correct and up to date
  • Updating purchase order status and stock quantities as deliveries are received
  • Stock allocation liaising with Operations Manager regarding stock movement and system transfers


  • Successfully manage production activities so all orders are shipped on time.
  • Update the sales targets daily and report to sales team any issues with regards to hitting targets


  • Reconciling delivery notes with purchase orders and reconciling supplier statements
  • Setting up new clients on the system for prepayment accounts
  • Processing credit notes, reviewing accounts, preparing for month end, taking care of the purchase, entering sales & purchase orders
  • Process credit card payments
  • Monitor given budgets ensuring there is no overspend


  • Maintain Fleet Vehicles
  • Cover when Operations Manager is on annual leave
  • Order stationery and office supplies as necessary
